Good afternoon, Happy Easter, and last day of Passover! Lots to look forward to this week as we prepare for Fuzion (spring concert) and State MPA for Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band! Our final rehearsals are CRUCIAL in attendance to make sure all our events are successful. Please make sure to read and plan ahead! As always, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Week at a Glance: Monday, April 21 -- Symphonic Band rehearsal 3:15-5:00pm Monday, April 21 -- Wind Ensemble rehearsal, 6-7:30pm Wednesday, April 23 -- Wind Ensemble rehearsal, 4-6:30pm Friday, April 25 -- Fuzion Concert, 6:30-9pm Saturday, April 26 -- Fuzion Concert, 11am-1pm Fuzion Concert Our Spring Fuzion concert is this Friday and Saturday. There will be different performances each day so be sure to ask your child when they will be performing as the shows will likely be very different based on those attending prom saturday night. Tickets will be available from the GoFan app, and on-site. Band Banquet on May 10 As we close this amazing (and record-breaking) school year, we look forward to sharing a special evening with our entire band family. Banquet is inclusive of all band and colorguard students and their family. Awards will be given, photos will be shared of the previous year. Our seniors will be recognized, and, oh yes, we will dance the night away! Keep your RSVP's coming in! Payment can be made by check or cash deposited in the band safe, with a transfer of excess funds in your fair share account (email treasurer@parkvistaband.com to request a transfer) or via the School Cash Online here: https://palmbeach.schoolcashonline.com/Fee/Details/297372/3/False/True. After buying your ticket, RSVP to President@parkvistaband.com to let Lorraine know how many people are coming from your family. Flea Market on May 17 We will have about 45 vendors at the Flea Market next month. Most students will not be available to volunteer that day, so we are looking for more parents to volunteer to help out. Please share the attached flyer on social media to spread the word, too! Next Year's Board Voting has closed and next year's parent has been selected. Please note -- we are still looking for two people to step up and run our fundraising programs next year.   Good morning Band Families,  WOW what a weekend! I hope you and your kids feel so proud about this past weekend and the performance they had at Boca. The kids had a great show, judges were so complimentary and constructive, the costumes and props look fantastic, and more. This was an incredible first show (a 1st place win, Best Music, Visual, GE, and Guard did not hurt either!!!) and we are over the moon.  The work does not stop here, though. We have a big competition to look forward to this week, and a MODIFIED rehearsal schedule due to Yom Kippur (G'mar Chatima Tovah to those who observe).  Please read ALL information below, as many important and crucial details are addressed in the itinerary (and the FAQ page).   Good afternoon Band Families, Thank YOU for everything yesterday and this whole week! Directors, judges, and schools were nothing but complimentary for the way we host shows. They loved our respectfulness, our helpfulness, and how prepared we were, even with our weather situation at the end. Your kids also did a FANTASTIC job, and were the "talk of the town" in the way they conducted themselves.  That being said - we do need to wrap up some invitational items (air out tents, reorganize the connex, etc) so please see CutTime later today to volunteer tomorrow for Invitational cleanup.  It really does take a whole village to run this event, and we are PROUD to have y'all, our alumni, and our future representing us in such a positive manner.  We are hitting our final 2 weeks. PV Band Weekly Update: 9.21-9.27

Good morning band families! It's an exciting week ahead of us - first competition week! This week looks strange for our rehearsals, since there are NO sectionals or rehearsals Monday and Tuesday. We really stress (heavily) the importance of the rehearsals on Thursday and Friday to best set us up for success going into the Boca Comp. I tell our kids a lot that "practice to learn your part, rehearsal is to learn how other people's parts go with yours."  It is IMPERATIVE that our kids (and us) are thinking in 'team sport' mentality over individual interests this week, and in general.  Attached are several documents, please pursue and take note of the details.
