Bandsgiving Potluck Dinner, 6:30pm on Tuesday
Please join us for the Park Vista Band first annual Thanksgiving potluck dinner on Tuesday at 6:30pm. This is an event for all marching band and guard members, their families, and the band directors to share a meal together for this Thanksgiving season.
This will be a chance to gather our Band Family together in appreciation of this special time of year as we end our amazing marching season. We will be thanking our hard working parents and staff at this time in the spirit of gratitude in a casual, family friendly atmosphere.
2600 Quantum Blvd in Boynton Beach. Off Congress Ave, just North of Gateway Blvd.
(Turn onto Quantum from Congress between MD Now and Pollo Tropical, then it will be on the right after crossing the canal. In the farthest building on the left.)
Please use this form to RSVP and sign up for your potluck item you would like to bring: https://forms.gle/ d2594eJry87QPBLz5
The dinner is free but every family attending must bring a dish to share. We are encouraging any main dish, side dish, or dessert that is a Thanksgiving food, or cultural or family recipe you want to share (should plan to serve about 10).
We are looking for people to lend tables and chairs, bring supplies, and to help with setup and cleanup on Tuesday. Please check CutTime and sign up to help. Tables and chairs will be dropped off at the dinner location on Monday 5pm-6pm (preferred) or Tuesday 5-5:30pm. For Monday drop offs later than 6pm please contact Heather on Slack or by call/text to (561) 358-4628. For general questions, please contact Amy on Slack, by email at events@parkvistaband.com, or by call/text to (561) 374-3311.
We are looking to gather together the collection of shared recipes (optional). If you are interested in sharing your potluck recipe, please send it to Amy at events@parkvistaband.com to be included in the collection.
Discounted Invitational programs and shirts will be available to purchase during the dinner.

Poinsettias
Forms are due no later than December 6th. If you have already collected some orders, we're asking that you please turn them in by this Wednesday so we can send an initial order to our supplier, but don't stop!
BRING YOUR FLYERS AND FORMS TO THANKSGIVING! Pass them around the table or talk to everyone while they're eating their hors d'oeuvres. Once they see our flyers and how beautiful these Poinsettia Plants are, they're going to find them hard to resist.
Attached is an updated order form and flyer that includes all colors of 6, 8, and 10 inch plants and price of the 36" plants. You can share the image on social media!
There is also an incentive from the supplier. They will donate 1 poinsettia of each size as a small incentive for the top 3 students who bring in the highest dollar amounts. 10” - First Place, 8” - Second Place, 6” - Third Place. This will only be available if the band order is more than $350 in total sales.
Flea Market on December 7, 6:30am-2pm
This is going to be a BIG one. Volunteers are desperately needed to have this event run smoothly. Please sign up in CutTime.
Student volunteers will be paid an hourly "wage" to assist with set up and clean up (max 4 hours, based on the number of vendors who participate) to put toward their band/guard fees. They will get volunteer hours as well.
Student sign ups will be arranged through the directors. ONLY 4 students per shift will be able to participate.
Coupon books are still available for sale/purchase. $12.50 per in-person sale and $10 for books ordered online and shipped to the buyer. If you would like to participate in on-site sales at Wild Fork, please email Nadelle, fundraising@ parkvistaband.com
Invitational program books are discounted to $5 cash each. There are about 60 books left. Contact Lorraine to purchase - president@parkvistaband.com
