FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY

I hope you and your student(s) are enjoying another day of rest!

As promised at the parent meeting, attached are all the information sheets and forms you will need to sell ads for the Invitational Program that we will be selling on November 2nd. We will be adding photos of all the participant bands and alumni classes to entice those groups to purchase the books and give our advertisers a larger pool of potential customers.

Please read through all of the documents before you solicit an advertiser.

As you can see from the "profits for sales" section on the information sheet, you will earn $200 for a full page color ad. If you are able to sell 5 of those ads, that will take care of almost all of your fair share for the year!
As with all other fundraisers, this is 100% optional. If you are not comfortable asking for ads that's ok. But if you frequent a business, own a business or know someone who does, this is the perfect opportunity to make some great money.

Remember, unless you sold one of the ads listed on the CLOSED SEASON list last year, you CANNOT solicit those businesses until September 16th. You CAN solicit any other business as soon as you receive this packet.

On another note, I would like to clarify something regarding the dine to donate events. We have these events, not only to have you enjoy a night out, but to invite local friends and family to go out and be able to donate to the band. Please share these flyers, and any other event flyers (Flea market, concerts, etc) on your social media and on your community pages to involve the community in our fundraising efforts.

With regard to the Save Around coupon books, if you are volunteering to sell the books at the football game, 100% of the profits will go to the band. If you are able to sell the books in front of Publix or Wild Fork, you will get the usual profit plus any cash donations you receive.

  Good morning Band Families,  WOW what a weekend! I hope you and your kids feel so proud about this past weekend and the performance they had at Boca. The kids had a great show, judges were so complimentary and constructive, the costumes and props look fantastic, and more. This was an incredible first show (a 1st place win, Best Music, Visual, GE, and Guard did not hurt either!!!) and we are over the moon.  The work does not stop here, though. PV Band Weekly Update: 10.26-11.01

  Good afternoon Band Families, Thank YOU for everything yesterday and this whole week! Directors, judges, and schools were nothing but complimentary for the way we host shows. They loved our respectfulness, our helpfulness, and how prepared we were, even with our weather situation at the end. Your kids also did a FANTASTIC job, and were the "talk of the town" in the way they conducted themselves.  That being said - we do need to wrap up some invitational items (air out tents, reorganize the connex, etc) so please see CutTime later today to volunteer tomorrow for Invitational cleanup.  It really does take a whole village to run this event, and we are PROUD to have y'all, our alumni, and our future representing us in such a positive manner.  We are hitting our final 2 weeks. PV Band Weekly Update: 9.21-9.27

Good morning band families! It's an exciting week ahead of us - first competition week! This week looks strange for our rehearsals, since there are NO sectionals or rehearsals Monday and Tuesday. We really stress (heavily) the importance of the rehearsals on Thursday and Friday to best set us up for success going into the Boca Comp. I tell our kids a lot that "practice to learn your part, rehearsal is to learn how other people's parts go with yours."  It is IMPERATIVE that our kids (and us) are thinking in 'team sport' mentality over individual interests this week, and in general.  Attached are several documents, please pursue and take note of the details.
