 Hello!

This notice is to inform you of the new safety measures the school is required to adopt according to HB1473 which passed this year regarding campus safety. 

Band practice starts promptly at 9AM and all students should enter the campus through the main school gate before 9AM.  ALL school gates will be locked for all Saturday rehearsals at 9:30AM. If you are late to practice, you will need to go to the student lot gate entrance (it is the next school entrance as you drive east on Northtree Blvd toward the park) and one of the directors will let you in. You will drive to the right to park or drop off your student. You MAY NOT remain on campus unless you are a scheduled volunteer for a band activity.
At lunch/dinner time, you will again need to drive to the student lot gate entrance if you are delivering food to your student. It is highly recommended that they pack lunch/dinner.

STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE CAMPUS TO PURCHASE LUNCH OR DINNER.

At the end of the practice day, you may wait at the main school entrance. The gate will be locked. One of the directors will open the gate between 8:45 and 9PM. Once the gate is unlocked, please proceed to the parking lot and PARK in a parking spot. Do NOT wait for your student in the lanes in front of the band gates. There is also no need to park in the handicapped areas if you do not plan to get out of your car and have a handicapped placard/plate. The student have to bring instruments across that area and need room. Also,we would like to keep all areas around the band gate clear of cars when the students are released from practice for their safety.

These are safety measures that have been put in place by our state government and adhered to by our administration. We take the safety of our students very seriously.

  Good morning Band Families,  WOW what a weekend! I hope you and your kids feel so proud about this past weekend and the performance they had at Boca. The kids had a great show, judges were so complimentary and constructive, the costumes and props look fantastic, and more. This was an incredible first show (a 1st place win, Best Music, Visual, GE, and Guard did not hurt either!!!) and we are over the moon.  The work does not stop here, though. PV Band Weekly Update: 10.26-11.01

  Good afternoon Band Families, Thank YOU for everything yesterday and this whole week! Directors, judges, and schools were nothing but complimentary for the way we host shows. They loved our respectfulness, our helpfulness, and how prepared we were, even with our weather situation at the end. Your kids also did a FANTASTIC job, and were the "talk of the town" in the way they conducted themselves.  That being said - we do need to wrap up some invitational items (air out tents, reorganize the connex, etc) so please see CutTime later today to volunteer tomorrow for Invitational cleanup.  It really does take a whole village to run this event, and we are PROUD to have y'all, our alumni, and our future representing us in such a positive manner.  We are hitting our final 2 weeks. PV Band Weekly Update: 9.21-9.27

Good morning band families! It's an exciting week ahead of us - first competition week! This week looks strange for our rehearsals, since there are NO sectionals or rehearsals Monday and Tuesday. We really stress (heavily) the importance of the rehearsals on Thursday and Friday to best set us up for success going into the Boca Comp. I tell our kids a lot that "practice to learn your part, rehearsal is to learn how other people's parts go with yours."  It is IMPERATIVE that our kids (and us) are thinking in 'team sport' mentality over individual interests this week, and in general.  Attached are several documents, please pursue and take note of the details.
