Dinner order form

First, if your student is no longer in the marching band, please let me know and I will remove you from the list.

Please see the link below for the pre-order form for dinners for the 8/16 football game and the 8/17 9-9 practice. Please be advised your student will also be seeing this on Discord. Please only order once. The form will close on Wednesday, August 14th at midnight so that we can place the orders. Payment is CASH ONLY. Please place it in an envelope marked FOOD order, with your student's name on it and place it in the band safe no later than Friday, August 17th.


Also, there seems to be some confusion as to the practice schedule and terminology. 
Yes, there is practice this Wednesday for Color guard and percussion and on Thursday for the full marching band.
From now on, we will use "FULL MARCHING BAND" not "marching band", to indicate winds, guard and percussion. 
We apologize for using inconsistent terminology, this will be corrected today.

Also remember, there may be sectional rehearsals throughout the season that will be scheduled by the section leaders and approved by the directors. Your students will be notified as soon as possible with those dates.

  Good morning Band Families,  WOW what a weekend! I hope you and your kids feel so proud about this past weekend and the performance they had at Boca. The kids had a great show, judges were so complimentary and constructive, the costumes and props look fantastic, and more. This was an incredible first show (a 1st place win, Best Music, Visual, GE, and Guard did not hurt either!!!) and we are over the moon.  The work does not stop here, though. PV Band Weekly Update: 10.26-11.01

  Good afternoon Band Families, Thank YOU for everything yesterday and this whole week! Directors, judges, and schools were nothing but complimentary for the way we host shows. They loved our respectfulness, our helpfulness, and how prepared we were, even with our weather situation at the end. Your kids also did a FANTASTIC job, and were the "talk of the town" in the way they conducted themselves.  That being said - we do need to wrap up some invitational items (air out tents, reorganize the connex, etc) so please see CutTime later today to volunteer tomorrow for Invitational cleanup.  It really does take a whole village to run this event, and we are PROUD to have y'all, our alumni, and our future representing us in such a positive manner.  We are hitting our final 2 weeks. PV Band Weekly Update: 9.21-9.27

Good morning band families! It's an exciting week ahead of us - first competition week! This week looks strange for our rehearsals, since there are NO sectionals or rehearsals Monday and Tuesday. We really stress (heavily) the importance of the rehearsals on Thursday and Friday to best set us up for success going into the Boca Comp. I tell our kids a lot that "practice to learn your part, rehearsal is to learn how other people's parts go with yours."  It is IMPERATIVE that our kids (and us) are thinking in 'team sport' mentality over individual interests this week, and in general.  Attached are several documents, please pursue and take note of the details.
