PVHS Marching Band: All Things Invitational

 Hello Band Family!


Saturday is our biggest event of the season and it is a fun and busy one!
Here is the invitational website:

EVENT SUMMARY (see website for details)
Tickets are $18 and can be purchased on GoFan
Parking is $5 cash only
Concession tickets can be purchased with cash only throughout the duration of the event (many items will be sold and are listed on the website)
Bring $$ for band-o-grams, invitational shirts and buttons if you so desire

VOLUNTEERS
We need volunteers still, lots of them.  For every shift worked, a meal ticket is provided.  If you volunteer, parking will not have to be paid and entrance to get in will be waived.  PLEEEEAASE go onto Charms and review the shifts and sign up as soon as you are able to so we can panic less. :)
When you volunteer, please wear your volunteer shirts OR you may purchase one of the very few left for $5 when you check-in.  If you do not have one or cannot get one, please wear a Park Vista Blue colored shirt or any Park Vista spirit wear. Wear comfortable shoes. Be prepared for the heat and sun (hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc). Please park in the volunteer parking lot (see below).
Note: When you sign in at the volunteer check-in table, you will be given an entrance wristband and your meal ticket(s) then.

If you do not have access to Charms and would like to volunteer, please email me and I will let you know what "roles and shifts" are available and we can make that happen.

DONATIONS
We still need donations.  Most emergent is for snacklike foods for the volunteer hospitality room: cookies/chips/whole fruit, etc.  Please bring food donations by 11am on Saturday to the band room.  
Pepsi products (12oz cans) and Gatorade bottles (20oz) will still be accepted until Saturday leading up to the event as well - please bring directly to the concession area.

LOANERS
We still need a few smaller (60qt) coolers (5).  Please help if you can and drop off your items either Friday night (only if you are volunteering for the football game) or Saturday first thing in the morning by 8am, as that is when set-up begins. Label your items clearly and in multiple locations and in a large font for ease of return. 

If you plan on loaning or donating, please email fundraising@parkvistaband.com just to provide a head's up that you are bringing them.

SCHOOL MAP for the event
Is attached to show a multitude of things, including: where to park as a spectator, as a volunteer and where bands go as well.  If you are working the event, open it and familiarize yourself with it to get an idea of who's going where so you have the answer if someone may ask. 
Note: we will have a slight modification to the parking situation and band warm-up sections until 2:30pm.  You will be informed of exact instructions upon arrival.
