London Tid Bits and Such...Such being PROPS team!

Hello Band Family,

Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July and your summer is going well.  

We have some exciting news regarding the trip to London that surely should not wait to be share.

1) Anyone can watch the parade on the route. For others who will be in London for this event, and would like to see the performance from one of the grandstands, you MUST purchase tickets. The tickets go on sale today and can be purchased here: 

We have heard that they do sell out quickly, so be sure to get in "line" sooner than later if this is something that pertains to you! 

Secondly, the LNYDP has merchandise too AND our band is now featured on the site!

Please take a look for yourselves (again, if applicable) and share this site to potential sponsors so people see this is a big deal: https://lnydp.com/

2) We can now deposit money. A London School Cash Online link will be sent out soon and checks (no more than $500 each check can be deposited into the band safe when camp resumes). Be on the lookout for another notification in the next day or so for more details regarding School Cash Online.

3) Please see the attached flyer if you would like to join yet another crew of wonderful parents that volunteer to help assemble PROPS for our marching season(s).  Perfect for someone who likes to get their hands dirty and be a part of a VERY important part of our volunteer army.

  Good morning Band Families,  WOW what a weekend! I hope you and your kids feel so proud about this past weekend and the performance they had at Boca. The kids had a great show, judges were so complimentary and constructive, the costumes and props look fantastic, and more. This was an incredible first show (a 1st place win, Best Music, Visual, GE, and Guard did not hurt either!!!) and we are over the moon.  The work does not stop here, though. We have a big competition to look forward to this week, and a MODIFIED rehearsal schedule due to Yom Kippur (G'mar Chatima Tovah to those who observe).  Please read ALL information below, as many important and crucial details are addressed in the itinerary (and the FAQ page). PV Band Weekly Update: 10.26-11.01

  Good afternoon Band Families, Thank YOU for everything yesterday and this whole week! Directors, judges, and schools were nothing but complimentary for the way we host shows. They loved our respectfulness, our helpfulness, and how prepared we were, even with our weather situation at the end. Your kids also did a FANTASTIC job, and were the "talk of the town" in the way they conducted themselves.  That being said - we do need to wrap up some invitational items (air out tents, reorganize the connex, etc) so please see CutTime later today to volunteer tomorrow for Invitational cleanup.  It really does take a whole village to run this event, and we are PROUD to have y'all, our alumni, and our future representing us in such a positive manner.  We are hitting our final 2 weeks. PV Band Weekly Update: 9.21-9.27

Good morning band families! It's an exciting week ahead of us - first competition week! This week looks strange for our rehearsals, since there are NO sectionals or rehearsals Monday and Tuesday. We really stress (heavily) the importance of the rehearsals on Thursday and Friday to best set us up for success going into the Boca Comp. I tell our kids a lot that "practice to learn your part, rehearsal is to learn how other people's parts go with yours."  It is IMPERATIVE that our kids (and us) are thinking in 'team sport' mentality over individual interests this week, and in general.  Attached are several documents, please pursue and take note of the details.
