Good afternoon Band Families, Thank YOU for everything yesterday and this whole week! Directors, judges, and schools were nothing but complimentary for the way we host shows. They loved our respectfulness, our helpfulness, and how prepared we were, even with our weather situation at the end. Your kids also did a FANTASTIC job, and were the "talk of the town" in the way they conducted themselves.  That being said - we do need to wrap up some invitational items (air out tents, reorganize the connex, etc) so please see CutTime later today to volunteer tomorrow for Invitational cleanup.  It really does take a whole village to run this event, and we are PROUD to have y'all, our alumni, and our future representing us in such a positive manner.  We are hitting our final 2 weeks. While others might see this as an opportunity to slow down, here at PV, this is where we take advantage and push forward. We are on a great trajectory, and we want to make...

Good morning band families,  Congrats to our marching band for All A's on the sheets and a Superior rating at marching MPA! We are proud of the kids for performing their full show for the first time, and like we told them last night... We are just getting STARTED and are looking forward to pushing down the gas pedal in the last 3 weeks. This is prime time for the team to be growing together. (But growing in every way; 2nd 9 weeks starts this week and it is imperative that the kids use their time wisely to get a head start in the right direction) On the topic of team: Our annual invitational is THIS WEEK! Please please PLEASE make sure we are signing up to volunteer - the spreadsheet should have 0 empty cells! It is a community event and we need all of you to help! Our kids will be there as well, so it truly will be a whole family event.  As always, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or conce...

Good morning band families, What a weekend! We are SO proud of these kids for sweeping 4A and the overall contest CLEAN, but more importantly, we are proud of the work that the kids have put in to better themselves from their last performance. We cannot possibly do any of this without the tireless work from y'all as our volunteers, cheerleaders, and more, and we are SO grateful for everything you do to support the kids and our program in all our endeavors.  We have the weekend off this week, but our weekdays are busy. We have a meeting for Invitational tomorrow (it is online. Tune in!), rehearsals, select students will be auditioning for all county jazz on Wednesday, Senior Night, and composite pics on Friday! Our MB kids will need their compressions, our concert kids will need to bring a CONCERT BLACK SHIRT. (Note: Friday is an ODD day. This means our Sym band and Guard kids will need to come to the band room during lunch or before school to take pics!!)  As always,...
