PV Band Weekly Update - 7.27-8.2

Good afternoon Band Families,  Please see below for our weekly update; it is going to be a hot week so anything y'all can do to help us ensure the kids are safe, hydrated, and healthy would be MUCH appreciated!! These kids are athletes and are moving around a lot, we need to all be taking care of our bodies, meaning: drinking water, electrolytes (Gatorade, Powerade, Liquid IV, etc), and making sure we are eating right too.  Also attached is our updated Financial agreement reflecting the change of removing our GA trip. Gentle reminder that Merch fees are not included in this, as everyone's merchandise costs are different.  As always, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns! PV Band Weekly Update 7.20-7.26

Good morning Band Families, We are truly looking forward to welcoming our marching band students back tomorrow for July Camp! We’ve built in some fun activities throughout the week — including  Skit Night!  — to help ensure our students have a meaningful “camp” experience filled with connection and camaraderie. We’re also incredibly excited to start putting our show drill on the field.  With the forecast looking a bit hotter this week, I want to encourage everyone to begin  hydrating now  to set themselves up for success. We will have cool cloths, fruit, and other resources on hand to help keep students safe and comfortable, but staying ahead of hydration is key. Our students are not just musicians — they are also athletes — and we want to help them perform at their best physically and mentally.   Good afternoon band families,  Hope everyone has been enjoying their summer vacation! Marching Band camp begins  Monday, July 21 , and all required paperwork must be submitted beforehand. To streamline this, we’re holding an  E-Day (EVERYTHING Day)  on  Thursday, July 17 , from  5–9 PM in the PV auditorium . This one-stop event will simplify paperwork submission and prepare for a successful season.
