PVHS Marching Band Comms: Game, Invitational reminder, Fundraisers with Updates, Merch Store, London reminders

  Hello Band Family! First of all, THANK YOU to everyone involved in and with last weekend's festivities.  From Trunk or Treat to MPA to Invitational, we all made it out alive, well and happy so that is a triple win for the books! A special thank you from the props and equipment team to all of those who lended a helping hand.  You have no idea how much the help is genuinely appreciated. PVHS Marching Band - Invitational email 1 of 10,000 (JK, maybe 10) for this week: Donations/Volunteer descriptions

  Hello Band Family, This week is another BIG week.   In preparation for the Invitational this weekend, a series of emails will be going out.  Today's email is to inform you of items that we are requesting to have donated and/or lent to us.  For the loaners, please label everything with your name and everything should be brought to school no later than Thursday night during/after practice. It will not behoove us to bring items on the night of the football game with all the people, security and other events going on.  The goal is to have everything ready for set up at 8am Saturday morning at the latest. Secondly, we will also need as many of you as possible to volunteer.  As requested, the descriptions of these spots are attached for you to review.   Please go onto Charms and sign up for a role...or three! :)  Every shift you volunteer for, you will be provided a meal ticket.  You must check-in at the volunteer check-in tab...

PVHS Marching Band - FanAngel - Sign Up now!

  Dear Band Family, Here are the step-by-step directions for the  Fan Angel fundraising campaign set to begin on November 4th: 1 - Create your student's account. 2 - Enter contact emails. 3 - Get your unique URL and QR code, share on social media or text. The band will receive approximately 90% of the funds donated (credit card fees are deducted as well as 7% of the total donation for administrative fees). You will get 60% of the net funds. Although the campaign is LIVE as of October 21st, emails have NOT been sent to request donations because not enough student profiles have been created or contacts entered. The campaign will be extended to allow for more entries so please create your profiles ASAP.  The goal for the first email blast is November 4th.  There will be 3 email blasts. If you do not want emails sent to potential donors, that's ok too. You can still create your profile and text to select family and friends and share on social media. Just l...

Band Parent Meeting Minutes from 10/25/23

 H ello Band Family, Attached are the meeting minutes from last night's band parent meeting.  Thank you to all of those that attended. We cannot express strongly enough how much your help is needed over the next couple of weeks.  Please go into Charms and see how and where you can help.  Help is needed for this Friday at the football game/senior night (many senior parents will not be able to assist like they normally do), MPA/Jupiter Invitational, next week's football game.  VERY SOON we will have the invitational roles available for you to peruse and sign up as well.  Please, please, please make an effort to help where you can.  EVERY SHIFT COUNTS - we are in the home stretch of season. PVHS Marching Band - Urgent: FanPledge replacement is FanAngel

Dear Band family, FanAngel has replaced FanPledge as our current fundraiser. If you choose to participate, please follow the instructions on the attached letter.  Contacts can be added at any time once your student's profile is created, but I suggest you do so by tomorrow to maximize your fundraising efforts.  Remember, your fair share balance can be carried over from this year to future years. New Fundraiser Alert - immediate action required (by Friday) - TELETHON

  Dear Band Family, We are launching a telethon style fundraiser on Saturday, October 14th during practice. Please review the attached instruction sheet.  You will need to enter your contact list on your students account page by Friday, October 13th. AFTER the launch, you can share the QR code on your social media. 60% of your donations will go into your band account. This campaign will run for two weeks. The student that raises the most money will get an extra $50 and the section that raises the most will have the pleasure of "dressing" the student leadership and directors at a later date. London Insurance: 2nd Notification: Response Required

  Dear London participants, 47 participants HAVE NOT responded to this email - please email back and confirm receipt.   Attached is a copy of the travel insurance booklet detailing the policy that is included in your travel and performance program, with details of the exclusions and conditions.   We ask that you have a quick read of the policy and let us know if you have any questions.   If any passengers aged 71 years or over, on the date of departure, are traveling, you will be required to pay a supplement of $50.00 if you wish to be included in the policy. Please send us your name (or the name of anyone in your party that is signed up to participate as well)  if you wish to be included and we will make a note to ensure billing and receipt of payment.   In the event that a claim needs to be made, a copy of the claims form will be needed.  Let us know and we will get that for you from the travel company. Hello Band Family! Attached are this week's communications (part 1) AND the itinerary for this Saturday in preparation for Boca High School's Invitational.
